Qualifications

Teaching applicants must be NH certified to teach Special Education.

Responsibilities

• Uses effective strategies for differentiation.
• Interacts positively, professionally, showing respect with students and parents.
• Engages students in lessons that are planned around grade level expectations and enhance critical thinking skills.
• Implements instructional strategies that contribute to a climate where students are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences.
• Serves as a role model for students and collaborates with peers to align curriculum and enhance the instructional environment.
• Pursues continuous professional development and reflects on teaching practices.
• Prepares lesson plans and oversees implementation of modifications and objectives defined in Individual Education Plan (IEP) for each student in their case load.
• Teaches general classroom education material in the student-specific modality.

Pay

$35 per hour
