Estimator – Restoration Construction
The Opportunity
You will serve as a critical field expert, driving the accurate scope and financial estimation of residential and commercial property recovery projects. This role allows you to make a profound impact by helping homeowners and businesses rebuild after devastating emergency losses. You will have the autonomy to manage independent property valuations while being backed by an established industry leader.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience with water, fire, smoke, mold, and storm restoration construction projects.
- Strong working knowledge and hands-on proficiency with Xactimate estimating software.
- Deep knowledge of local, state, and federal building codes alongside general construction practices.
- Valid driver’s license with a motor vehicle record that meets company insurability standards.
- Ability to navigate active construction sites, climb ladders, enter confined spaces, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, and mobile tracking technology.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of dedicated property restoration estimating experience.
- Demonstrated success in managing and negotiating complex supplements directly with insurance adjusters.
- Strong organizational skills with a history of managing multiple property estimations simultaneously in a fast-paced market.
