Primary Responsibilities
- Educate customers on the restoration and mitigation process
- Absess property damage and work with customers to understand immediate needs, safety concerns, and potential upgrades
- Ensure all estimates and scopes align with client requirements and insurance carrier guidelines
- Create accurate sketches and develop an initial scope of work for mitigation and restoration services
- Deliver consistent, detailed, and well-documented estimates using industry-standard tools (e.g., Xactimate / Cotality™)
- Collaborate with Project Managers and field teams to validate scope, pricing, and production approach
- Assemble clear, accurate, and well-organized estimates for internal review and client submission
- Communicate estimate details, project scope, and updates effectively with customers, insurance partners, and internal teams
Education And Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Business, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in restoration estimating, water/fire mitigation, and/or insurance adjusting
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage customers during stressful loss situations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for working with customers, adjusters, and internal teams
- Proficiency in Xactimate™ estimating software and familiarity with insurance carrier guidelines and TPA programs
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in evaluating property damage and determining scope of work
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, emergency service environment with shifting priorities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with production crews and office staff
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel locally to job sites as needed
Preferred Certifications (SERVPRO / Industry Standard)
- IICRC Certifications
- Xactimate Training
Physical And Work Environment Requirements
- Walking and/or standing for extended periods throughout the day
- Frequent driving and sitting
- Sometimes ladder use and work at heights
- Exposure to varying environmental conditions, including heat and humidity
- Work environments may include active job sites with elevated noise levels
Rapid Response to Water, Fire, and Other Property Damage Events
- Rapid response is a critical component of this role
Travel Requirements
- Normal Working Hours: Typically between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Additional Working Hours: Flexibility is required, including extended hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- On-call Rotation: Participates in an on-call rotation
- Travel: Primarily local within the service area; however, occasional out-of-town and overnight travel may be required to support large-loss projects or catastrophe response efforts
Pay Structure
- Annual Salary Plus Commission
- Rage posted Compensation: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
