Restoration Estimator

About the Role

A Restoration Estimator (RE) at Paul Davis works with owners, adjusters, and Project Managers after traumatic events such as fire or flood to clean up and repair damage to residential and commercial property. You will be on scene after property disasters to accurately scope projects and sign work for production teams. Building relationships with insurance professionals and communicating with property owners to set expectations for restoring structures to their original form are key aspects of the role.

Serving others in their time of need requires trust, active listening, and a results-driven personality. You will be on the front lines of restoring communities by assessing damaged properties and scoping estimates for full rebuilds.

Responsibilities

• Meet operational objectives for sales, gross margin, and brand experience.
• Clearly communicate expectations with project managers and adjusters.
• Profitably scope estimates and sign projects to initiate work.
• Manage work order entry within the management software system.
• Communicate and document change orders and insurance supplements.
• Ensure projects complete within profit range and service level agreements are met.
• Participate in the on-call rotation, including evenings and weekends for new losses.
• Schedule customer appointments and communicate tasks and deadlines to team members.

Working Conditions

The role requires working in various indoor and outdoor conditions. Frequently uses personal protective equipment and involves standing, walking, occasional bending, squatting, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Pay

Base commission with a yearly pay range of $52,000 to $100,000, depending on production. No limit to earning potential.
