Responsibilities
- Actively supports the Company’s commitment to safety and its “Core Values.”

- Maintains quality service by following company policy and ensuring confidentiality of company and client information.
- Prepares estimates by assessing and calculating takeoff elements from available documents and assigning them to the appropriate items in an estimating database.
- Creates and manages estimates for varying scopes and product lines, including API 620 Tanks, Specialty vessels, Cryogenic/Refrigerated Tanks, Thermal Vacuum Chambers, and balance of plant tagged equipment (e.g., tanks, foundations, platforms, structural steel, electrical, instrumentation, piping, and mechanical items).
- Assists in developing, soliciting, assessing, and incorporating subcontract and vendor pricing into estimates and proposals using a uniform corporate structure.
- Assists in the review and development of proposal documentation prior to review, approval, and transmittal.
- Interprets budgets and assists with tracking estimated equipment budgets versus committed and actual costs.
- Provides technical support to various project and proposal teams.
- Gathers and organizes information for estimates and proposals to meet project needs.
- Manages multiple projects concurrently and prioritizes tasks effectively.
- Reviews pertinent documentation and conducts site or office visits as necessary.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (highly preferred) or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2+ years of appropriate field and/or office experience.
- Ability to visualize the finished product from drawings and other documents.
- Familiarity with Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, and Commissioning work and terminology.
- Strong mathematical comprehension.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic team player open to adopting new ideas and methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with estimating software and database applications.
- Experience with project scheduling software (e.g., MS Project or Primavera) is a plus.
- Ability to interact professionally at all organizational levels.
- Occasional travel and extended workdays may be required.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
