About the Role
This position will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of commercial construction project proposals and bids. You will identify and compute labor, material, and time costs by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and other bid documents.
Responsibilities
- Visit project and pre-bid meetings to understand site conditions/scope.
- Review plans and specifications.
- Provide accurate take-off.
- Work with estimating team to build the estimate and pricing.
- Develop preliminary schedule.
Requirements
- 3+ years of previous commercial construction experience with public, private, or federal projects is required.
- B.S. Degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
- Civil estimating experience preferred.
- Well-rounded base of knowledge in construction disciplines.
- Strong working knowledge of estimating software like Cost-OS, OST, and PlanSwift.
- Working knowledge of programs such as Bluebeam, Excel, and Word.

Physical Demands/Essential Job Functions
