Estimating Manager, Data Center
About the role
The Data Center Estimating Manager is responsible for managing the cost estimating/department function. This includes overseeing estimators and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of cost estimates. The role requires managing and typically directly supervising estimators and ensuring that projects or products are accurately costed.
Responsibilities
- Manages and typically directly supervises estimators and ensures timely and accurate delivery of cost estimates.
- Ensures that projects or products are accurately costed.
- Led a multi-disciplinary cost management team across several concurrent projects.
- Work directly with clients in receiving instructions, preparing and negotiating proposals, and delivering work product.
- Manage quality assurance and management programs within the team.
Requirements
Minimum Experience: BA/BS + 8 Years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Preferred Experience: 5 Years of Data Center Construction is strongly preferred.
