Estimating Manager, Data Center

About the role

The Data Center Estimating Manager is responsible for managing the cost estimating/department function. This includes ensuring timely and accurate delivery of cost estimates, accurately costing projects or products, and managing a multi-disciplinary cost management team across several concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Manages and typically directly supervises estimators
• Timely and accurate delivery of cost estimates
• Accurately cost projects or products
• Manage a multi-disciplinary cost management team across several concurrent projects
• Work directly with clients in receiving instructions, preparing and negotiating proposals, and delivering work product
• Manage quality assurance and management programs within the team

Requirements

Minimum Experience: BA/BS + 8 Years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Preferred Experience: 5 Years of Data Center Construction is strongly preferred.
