Estimating Manager, Data Center
About the role
The Data Center Estimating Manager is responsible for managing the cost estimating/department function. This includes ensuring timely and accurate delivery of cost estimates, accurately costing projects or products, and managing a multi-disciplinary cost management team across several concurrent projects.
Responsibilities
- Manages and typically directly supervises estimators
- Ensures the project or product is accurately costed
- Manages a multi-disciplinary cost management team across several concurrent projects
- Works directly with clients in receiving instructions, preparing and negotiating proposals, and delivering work product
- Manages quality assurance and management programs within the team
Requirements
Minimum Experience: BA/BS + 8 Years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Preferred Experience: 5 Years of Data Center Construction is strongly preferred.
