About the role
We are seeking an experienced Estate Planning Paralegal to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation and review of estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
- Providing comprehensive transactional legal support, including drafting, reviewing, and filing legal documents.
- Managing and organizing client files and documents, ensuring all information is up-to-date and readily accessible.
- Conducting legal research and preparing legal memorandums as required.
- Coordinating and communicating effectively with clients, attorneys, and other professionals to gather necessary information and facilitate estate planning processes.
- Assisting in the administration of trusts and estates, including probate proceedings.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estate Planning Paralegal or a similar role in the legal industry.
- A bachelor's degree in law, paralegal studies, or a related field. A paralegal certification is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in estate planning software and various legal research tools.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of estate planning, probate laws, and trust administration.
- Exceptional transactional legal support skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
Pay
$70,000 - $110,000 per year
