Job Details

  • Responsibilities:
    • Assist attorneys with estate planning, probate, trust administration, and estate administration matters.
    • Draft and prepare estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and related documents.
    • Support probate and trust administration matters, including petitions, pleadings, asset transfers, accountings, and related documentation.
    • Communicate with clients, family members, attorneys, financial institutions, and other involved parties.
    • Cook up client meetings, document signings, deadlines, and follow-up items.
    • Maintain organized client files and ensure matters continue moving efficiently from intake through completion.
    • Prepare deeds, trust funding documents, correspondence, and other legal documentation as needed.
    • Provide a high level of client service in a professional, compassionate, and detail-oriented manner.
  • Qualifications:
    • Prior experience as an Estate Planning Paralegal, Trusts & Estates Paralegal, Probate Paralegal, or similar legal support role.
    • Experience drafting estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, POAs, healthcare directives, and related documents.
    • Probate, trust administration, or estate administration experience strongly preferred.
    • Strong client communication skills and ability to work closely with clients and families.
    • Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage deadlines, documents, and multiple matters at once.
    • Florida trusts and estates experience preferred.
    • Notary experience is a plus.
