Responsibilities

  • Draft and review estate planning documents, including: Wills, Revocable and irrevocable trusts, Durable powers of attorney, Health care proxies, Living wills and related advance directives.
  • Counsel clients on estate planning strategies and wealth preservation.
  • Handle probate and trust administration matters.
  • Conduct client consultations and develop customized estate plans.
  • Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff to provide exceptional client service.
  • Aid in planning for business owners and real estate investors.
  • Participate in business succession planning and ownership transition strategies as experience develops.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and in good standing.
  • 1-2 years of experience in estate planning, probate, trust administration, or a related practice area preferred.
  • Experience drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care proxies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Desire to grow professionally and develop expertise in sophisticated estate planning techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Probate and trust administration experience.
  • Exposure to business entities, real estate ownership structures, or succession planning.
  • Interest in advising business owners and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and strong client relationship skills.
