Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission in Maryland
  • 3+ years of experience in estate planning, trust and estate administration, or related private client work
  • Strong understanding of estate and gift tax principles, trust structures, and wealth transfer strategies
  • Experience drafting a range of estate planning documents, such as wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, and related instruments
  • Familiarity with high-net-worth client planning, including business succession or tax-efficient structures, is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with clients and explain complex concepts clearly
