Estate Planning Attorney

About the role

This position involves estate planning, probate, real estate, and corporate transactional work. The ideal candidate will work directly with clients under the supervision of senior attorneys in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate agreements related to the sale, acquisition, leasing, and financing of commercial real estate
• Draft corporate documents, including partnership agreements and corporate resolutions
• Handle estate planning matters, including wills, trusts, and probate
• Represent clients in probate court and other legal proceedings related to estate planning
• Work with clients directly with minimal supervision
• Identify valuable law firm, title relationships, and investment opportunities
• Oversee and accelerate new business growth for the firm by:
  • Identifying current influencers and referral sources
  • Developing new referral sources (both inbound and outbound referrals)
  • Identifying local market opportunities for new business development

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-5 years of estate planning experience, including wills, trusts, and probate matters
• Minimum of 1-3 years of transactional experience in real estate and corporate matters (a plus)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and strong academic credentials
• Experience working with clients from a variety of ethnic backgrounds (proficiency in another language is a plus)
