Responsibilities
- Handle contested estate and trust matters, including will contests, accounting proceedings, kinship hearings, and fiduciary disputes
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs, and appear in Surrogate's Court
- Work directly with partners and clients on case strategy from intake through resolution
Requirements
- 3+ years of practice with direct, demonstrable estates litigation experience (required)
- Admission to the New York bar and good standing
- Strong research, writing, and courtroom instincts, and comfort managing matters with limited supervision
Pay
$130,000 - $170,000 per year
