ESP Supervising Clinician, Gardner

About the role

The CSO is seeking a Supervising Clinician to lead the Emergency Services Program (ESP) in Gardner. The ESP provides behavioral health assessments, intervention, and stabilization services, serving as an alternative to hospital emergency departments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supportive supervisory coverage of Crisis programs when on-duty.
  • Offer clinical and professional guidance to counselors.
  • Conduct intake, psychiatric assessments, and appropriate dispositions for clients experiencing mental health emergencies.
  • Facilitate intakes and assessments for clients referred for domiciliary supports.
  • Develop community contacts and coordinate crisis plans and protocols for clients presenting frequently in crisis.
  • Collaborate with hospitals, community providers, and police departments.
  • Provide consultation and education as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with agency, DMH, DPH, and other licensing authorities, including third-party payer regulations regarding record-keeping.
  • Coordinate crisis intervention with CCS clients as needed.

Requirements

  • A Master's degree in a mental health discipline, with license-eligible status (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW preferred).
  • At least three years of experience working with mentally ill populations, including at least one year with supervisory responsibilities.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Pay

$62,000 - $64,000/year
