About the Role

We are seeking an ESOL teacher for a client in San Marcos, CA. This is a freelance, part-time position for a customized language training course.

• Course Type: General and business English
• Format: One-to-one instruction
• Total Hours: 20 (10 sessions of 2 hours each)
• Location: At your office/home or a public location in San Marcos, CA
• Student: 30-year-old gentleman at an intermediate English level
• Schedule: Once per week, either Monday or Tuesday at 17:00
• Start Date: As soon as possible

The student’s motivation: "I will be in the US for work until December 2026. I need to improve listening and speaking in general and business conversation."

Requirements

• Be a native English speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter
• Have a valid work permit/visa (we are not able to sponsor visas)
• Live within 20 miles of San Marcos, CA

Conditions

• Schedule and location may be flexible based on availability
• Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
