What You Will Do
The Associate Laboratory Directorate for Environment, Safety, Health and Quality (ALDESHQ) is seeking recent graduates for post-graduate internships. These internships offer mentoring, hands-on experience, and professional development opportunities.
Are you interested in joining a team tackling important national issues? ALDESHQ manages over 160 lab-wide safety programs, environmental protection, radiation protection, waste management, quality, and supports nearly 5000 projects and programs at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
What You Need
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy coupled with outstanding critical thinking skills
- Experience working on multiple projects and meeting deadlines
- Proficiency in standard office software like Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding customer service and organizational skills
- Ability to uphold the Laboratory's mission, vision, culture, and values
Education / Experience
- Must have earned an Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution within the last 3 years
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
Work Location
The position is located onsite in Los Alamos, NM. Interns may work a 9/80 schedule at the discretion of management.
