eSales Agent - Global BMW Mini
About the role
Sonic Automotive is a Fortune 500 company and one of the largest automotive dealer groups in the country with 100+ dealerships nationwide. The eSales Agent engages with customers who contact the dealership with the interest of purchasing a new and/or pre-owned vehicle. The ultimate goal is to generate sales appointments and drive customers to the dealership by handling internet inquiries and phone calls, establishing contact and a premium customer experience.
This position uses lead management tools and CRM software to manage the initial guest engagement process. The agent will be trained to understand all products and services offered at the dealership, current inventory, finance, and incentive programs, along with continuous training in exceptional customer service, sales tactics, overcoming objections, and developing customer relationships. Compensation is tied to appointment and sales performance.
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound phone calls, internet inquiries, and chats
- Provide guests with timely, relevant responses to address customer questions and needs
- Facilitate providing guests price and purchasing information
- Provide payment options and quotes
- Generate sales and acquisition appointments
- Manage organizers to stay up to date with follow-up of all active guests
- Adhere to specific outreach cadence required for new inquiries
- Maintain a thorough understanding of KPIs
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of call center or sales-focused experience
- Able to set priorities, multi-task, and achieve goals
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work on a team
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly proficient in verbal phone skills
- Ability to establish and maintain strong internal and external relationships
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Must be adaptable to change
- Proficient using a computer
- Evening and weekend schedule availability required
