ES/MS/HS Long-Term District Pool Substitutes_ESCCO/OLSD
The Olentangy Schools are seeking multiple Elementary, Middle, and High School Long-Term District Pool Substitute positions for the 2021-2022 school year.
About the role
District Pool Substitutes will be compensated at a rate of $165 per work day (no benefits) and assigned to a primary building within the district, but could be directed to an alternate building/assignment based on daily need. Qualified candidates will be employed through the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio (ESCCO), must hold or be eligible for valid and appropriate licensure for each position with the Ohio Department of Education (ODE), and must be active on Frontline Absence Management as a certified substitute with the ESCCO.

- Demonstrate knowledge of subject matter
- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning
- Follow the scope and sequence of the instructional program
- Observe ethics of the teaching profession
Requirements
- Hold or be eligible for valid and appropriate licensure for each position with the Ohio Department of Education (ODE)
- Be active on Frontline Absence Management as a certified substitute with the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio (ESCCO)
- Complete a Teacher Educators' Professional Inventory (EPI) Assessment via a link sent under separate email cover
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must complete all required fields within the certified application and include a current resume and letter of interest within the 'Attachments' section of the application. The EPI assessment is a timed assessment, so please set aside approximately 45 minutes of uninterrupted time before you begin the process.
