There will be a Grade 5 certified substitute position(s) available at Cheshire Elementary School for the 2021-2022 school year, PM only.

About the role

Qualified candidates will be employed through the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio (ESCCO) and must hold or be eligible for valid and appropriate licensure for each position with the Ohio Department of Education. Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of students
• Demonstrate knowledge of subject matter
• Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning
• Follow the scope and sequence of the instructional program
• Observe ethics of the teaching profession

Requirements

• Complete all required fields within the certified application
• Include a current resume and letter of interest within the 'Attachments' section of the application
• Revisit the online application at any time to make necessary additions or changes
• Complete an online Teacher Educators' Professional Inventory (EPI) Assessment via a link sent under separate email cover
• Set aside approximately 45 minutes of uninterrupted time before starting the EPI assessment
• The EPI assessment must be completed once started
