ERP Specialist
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Spectrum-related support tickets, triaging and resolving issues.
- Administer user access, security permissions, and system configuration, applying appropriate controls to reduce risk.
- Cook with the Spectrum vendor and IT on troubleshooting, upgrades, and escalations.
- Support department power users with appropriate self-service access while maintaining system integrity.
Reporting & Analytics
- Write and optimize SQL queries against Spectrum and related databases to support reporting needs.
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards, partnering with the Data & Automation team.
- Troubleshoot and repair existing Spectrum-adjacent reports, and rebuild those that no longer meet business needs.
Automation & Integrations
- Support API integrations and system connectivity between Spectrum and other business applications.
- Develop Power Query solutions and contribute to broader automation projects.
- Contribute to Data & Automation team initiatives and the Spectrum project backlog.
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Document key processes, administrative procedures, and reporting logic to build institutional knowledge and reduce risk from staff transitions.
- Maintain clear, current documentation so work is transparent, maintainable, and easy to hand off.
Education and Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in information systems or a related field.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience - Preferably with SQL, reporting/BI tools, or systems administration — through prior roles, internships, coursework, or personal projects. Prior ERP or Viewpoint Spectrum experience is a plus, but not required.
Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Climate-controlled office environment with varying temperatures.
- Occasional travel to jobsites with exposure to fluctuating weather conditions.
