Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed analysis of existing operational processes, identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for optimization.
- Develop and recommend solutions to streamline operations and improve productivity.
- Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including operations teams, inventory control and shipping/receiving, to understand their needs and ensure alignment on proposed solutions.
- Build strong relationships and facilitate communication across teams.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to address operational challenges.
- Support the testing and training phases of implementation.
- Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement within operational processes.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Participate in ERP integrations, enhancements and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of operational processes, procedures, and system configurations.
- Define, configure, test, and deploy best practice solutions for production, MES, labeling, purchasing, planning, inventory control, material storage, and other manufacturing tools.
- Propose program changes/fixes for existing reports and dashboards.
- Apply LEAN concepts to production activities to support demand driven.
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- 5+ years in a manufacturing or inventory control, managerial role.
- Demonstrated experience with FDA/GMP or ISO 13485 requirements.
- Manage project constraints and risks.
- Ability to effectively coordinate multiple tasks, changing priorities, and frequently conflicting demands.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify root causes.
- Ability to determine priorities and handle multiple tasks.
- ERP system experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- Epicor/QAD experience.
