We are looking for an experienced ERP/CRM Architect to provide deep technical leadership for enterprise application architecture and integration efforts in Tempe, Arizona. This is a long-term contract position suited for a senior consultant who combines strategic design capability with direct hands-on development, troubleshooting, and solution delivery.
Responsibilities
- Drive the technical workstream for the organization’s transition from ECC 6.0 to S/4HANA, including architecture planning, solution design, and execution support.
- Build, enhance, and maintain integrations between SAP and external platforms using MuleSoft, APIs, IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and web services.
- Perform hands-on development, customization, debugging, and performance tuning across SAP-related applications and interfaces.
- Review existing custom solutions and recommend practical modernization approaches that align with long-term S/4HANA objectives.
- Define scalable integration architecture standards that support business growth, system reliability, and maintainability.
- Partner with internal technology teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Produce clear technical documentation, including specifications, architecture diagrams, interface designs, and roadmap materials.
- Advise on security design, data exchange controls, and compliance-minded integration practices across the SAP environment.
- Provide ongoing support for production issues, system enhancements, and project-based technical initiatives as a senior enterprise consultant.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in SAP technical consulting with a strong record of hands-on delivery.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0 and proven involvement in S/4HANA migration or implementation work.
- Strong background in MuleSoft development and integrating SAP with third-party applications.
- Expertise with IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, APIs, middleware, and web service-based connectivity.
- Experience delivering custom development, enhancements, interfaces, and troubleshooting within SAP environments.
- Solid understanding of SAP security concepts and secure integration design principles.
- Ability to work independently in a senior consultant capacity while communicating effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture standards and complex large-scale system environments.
