About the role
This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care in the Emergency Room, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to ensure safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Accurately document patient information
- Observe and record physiological signs
- Follow physician orders
- Collect lab samples
- Adhere to infection control protocols
- Perform admission, discharge, and transfer procedures
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree (BSN preferred)
- Current state RN licensure without sanctions
- Minimum 2 years of ER or comparable experience
Certifications
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association (ENPC may substitute for PALS)
Additional duties
- Participate in quality assessments
- Attend staff meetings
- Perform assigned tasks
Skills
Proficiency in English communication is required.
