ER Coord ED Flow

As a ER Coord ED Flow, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn –whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or more formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. You'll help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing. Every patient deserves attentive, timely, and well‑coordinated care. As the RN Coordinator for ED Flow/Throughput, you will play a key role in ensuring patients move through the Emergency Department with clarity, clinical support, and thoughtful coordination. By aligning staffing, patient placement, and clinical resources, you’ll help teams deliver care that is organized, safe, and patient‑centered. And in moments of urgency and complexity, your leadership will keep caregivers connected, supported, and focused on their mission to care for and improve human life.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating patient placement, triage processes, EMS handoffs, and inpatient transfers
• Aligning staffing plans with patient volume, acuity, and department needs
• Monitoring delays in care transitions and collaborating on solutions
• Supporting safety priorities, experience initiatives, and quality outcomes
• Partnering with physicians, nurses, and care teams to remove barriers
• Providing clinical guidance, escalation support, and patient care when needed

Qualifications

• 2+ Years of ER RN Experience Required!
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt
• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt(RN)
• Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
