About the role
The Advisor, ER & HR Compliance supports the firm’s commitment to regulatory integrity and sound employment practices. Key responsibilities include monitoring and supporting employment compliance, preparing compliance reports, and collaborating with various teams.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and implement compliance with national, regional, state, city, and local employment laws and internal HR policies.
- Support periodic audits and reviews of HR processes, policies, and documentation to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare timely compliance reports and maintain accurate records of compliance activities.
- Research regulatory updates and communicate relevant changes to HR leadership, the Office of General Counsel, and relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with HR, Technology, Finance, and Legal teams to extract compliance-related data and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Provide guidance to HR team members on compliance-related enquiries and escalate complex issues to the HR Compliance leader.
- Support in the effective tracking of ER matters in collaboration with Senior Advisor and Senior Manager.
- Create, deliver, and track mandatory training and compliance-related matters using technology.
- Maintain information in the firm’s communication systems and contribute to information strategy for employee/Partner awareness.
- Manage compliance campaigns with external providers.

Qualifications
- Preferred Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience with typically 2-3 years in HR, Employee Relations, or HR Compliance.
- Professional HR certification preferred (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, CIPD etc.).
