Equity & Compensation Analyst
About the role
The Compensation & Equity Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day execution, administration and continuous improvement of the company’s compensation and equity programs. This role manages the day-to-day operations of equity administration and compensation program implementation while ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering a strong employee experience.
Responsibilities
- Administer the company’s compensation program, including annual compensation cycle execution, compensation structure integrity and process documentation.
- Cook up with HR and Finance for timely issue resolution, and high service quality for employees.
- Support administration of the company’s stock incentive plan, including grant issuance, share pool oversight, share release, company disbursement execution, tax form distribution.
- Partner with external parties as well as internal partners in accounting and legal to execute processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage compensation administration and visualization systems and HRIS integrations, including platforms such as Pave, Workday or ADP. Contribute to configuration, system updates, and automation of workflows to improve operational efficiency and enable effective employee self-service.
- Analyze internal and external compensation trends and employee engagement data to assess program effectiveness. Develop reports and dashboards to inform leadership decisions related to compensation strategy, cost management, and program design.
- Identify opportunities to enhance transparency, understanding, improve communications, and increase employee experience with compensation and equity awards. Point of contact for HR Business Partner and employee questions regarding compensation and equity programs.
- Tools and Process Development: Partner with HR, Accounting, Finance, and others to build and maintain self-serve tools which address operational issues, and support ongoing program optimization.
- Market Benchmarking Surveys: Point of contact for completion of market benchmarking surveys, data consolidation, and tool development in support of market-informed compensation philosophy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5+ years of experience administering compensation or equity programs in a corporate HR or Total Rewards environment.
- Experience working with compensation and equity administration platforms and HRIS systems such as Shareworks, Pave, Workday, ADP, or similar systems.
- Strong proficiency with compensation and equity administration platforms and HRIS systems.
- Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities.
- Analytical Capabilities: Ability to analyze compensation and equity data to identify trends and potential opportunities.
- Experience using data to identify program improvements and forecast compensation and equity costs.
- Compliance Expertise: Working knowledge of compensation regulations including ERISA, FLSA.
- Experience supporting audits and regulatory compliance initiatives.
- Communication and Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex compensation and equity information into clear employee messaging.
- Able to collaborate effectively with HR partners, Finance, Accounting, Legal, and external vendors.
- Professional Skills: Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
- High level of discretion when handling confidential employee data.
- To manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $65,300 - $81,630 with eligibility for bonus, equity and comprehensive benefits including health, dental and vision. The actual salary will vary by geographic region and job experience. We will share detailed compensation data for a specific location during the recruiting process.
