ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Construct and analyze financial models on public companies.
- Maintain communication with sell-side analysts.
- Meet with company management teams to gain insight into their business models and form opinions about growth prospects.
- Assist other analysts and portfolio managers with fundamental research.
- Monitor economic conditions and data, contributing to the portfolio management team’s analysis of the economy.
- Meet with clients and consultants to convey current portfolio positioning, performance, and market conditions.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 2+ years of related experience and/or training.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills with the ability to determine the appropriate action.
- Process management skills.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, with the ability to learn and utilize industry specific software as required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Demonstrated reliability in attendance and work performance.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) preferred.
