Equipment Technician Supporting MVF

About the role

The Equipment Technician role at Wolfspeed involves performing corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance tasks on semiconductor tools to improve and sustain equipment availability, reliability, and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-mechanical root cause troubleshooting of semiconductor manufacturing equipment
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble equipment according to operating manuals, schematics, blueprints, etc.
• Use tests and diagnostic equipment to complete equipment checks
• Work with process engineers to understand process-equipment interactions and limitations relative to operating specs
• As needed, modify equipment to improve uptime or overall process performance

Requirements

• AAS in Electronics Technology or military electronics equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, schematics, and maintenance manuals
• At least 3 years of equipment maintenance experience

Qualifications

This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.

Available Shifts:

• Front End Days (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday 6am - 6:15pm)
• Back End Days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday 6am - 6:15pm)
• Front End Nights (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday 6pm - 6:15am)
• Back End Nights (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday, 6pm -6:15am)
