Responsibilities
- Proper handling, movement, and stocking of equipment according to Company policies and procedures.
- Enters transactions into the Company's database (PERFECT and/or D365) and maintains associated documentation.
- Visually inspects equipment for damage and cleanliness and reports accordingly.
- Ensures equipment is routed as required by type of transaction and product segment.
- Counts and visually verifies inventory as directed.
- Performs special inventory projects and performs other tasks when required.
- Operates company vehicles in compliance with all federal, state, and local traffic laws, including Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations; adhere to company driving policies, safety standards, and participate in mandatory random drug and alcohol screening programs.
Qualifications
- Good written and oral communication skills are necessary.
- Requires good basic data entry skills and familiarity with barcode equipment.
- PC literacy preferred.
- Must be detailed oriented and can work multiple tasks as assigned.
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent knowledge and certification 6 months’ experience with warehouse processes and database management.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
Physical Demands And Work Environment
- Prolonged periods of standing and working at a computer.
- Work in a low to moderate noise environment with frequent deadline pressures.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds and be able to move equipment with help up to 150 pounds.
- Be able to read documents, read small print and view a computer screen for prolong periods, prepare, or inspect documents and operate office equipment.
- Ability to hear average or typical conversations and receive ordinary information.
- Communicate effectively via phone.
