Equipment Technician Subfab Support

About the role

In this role you will perform corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance tasks on semiconductor support tools designed to improve/sustain equipment availability, reliability, and maintainability. This position has the potential to grow into an Engineer level position after training, depending on performance.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Equipment in assigned process area and be familiar with tool issues
• Create/modify Procedures and preventative maintenance specifications as needed to improve tool availability or enhance training of technicians
• Trouble shoot minor tool issues to resolution
• Use of diagnostic tools, hand tools, and electronic measurement equipment
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on tools in accordance with equipment specifications
• Establish relationships across each team on the production floor to drive strong communication and collaboration

Requirements

• AAS in Mechanical or Electronics Technology or Bachelor’s degree in related field
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, schematics, and maintenance manuals
• At least 3 years of equipment maintenance experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to work a compressed schedule, following our Backend Days (Thursday - Saturday and every other Wednesday 6am – 6:15pm)

Pay

The posted salary range is $25.60 - $35.20 per hour. Actual pay for a hired applicant will be determined based on the individual’s job-relevant qualifications, experience, and other determinative factors. In the event it is determined that a different job level upon hire is warranted then that range will be communicated to the hired applicant as soon as reasonably practicable.

Compressed schedule (Thursday - Saturday and every other Wednesday 6am – 6:15pm)
