Equipment Technician - Coffee/Beverage M-F 7:00am to 3:30pm

Responsibilities

• Possess a basic understanding of all brands and configuration of equipment offered by New England Coffee Company including coffee, tea and related allied product preparation equipment
• Familiar with wiring schematics
• Possess basic diagnostic skills
• Troubleshoot customer equipment and technical problems with members of the sales force over the telephone
• Proactively detects and corrects potential problems before they occur
• Completes clear and accurate work orders documenting service provided, parts used, and the results
• Performs related duties as assigned by the Equipment Supervisor
• Maintain safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and person
• Report any injury or accident immediately to supervisor and/or any unsafe condition
• Ensure the operation is providing food-safe, quality products which meet or exceed all product specifications and regulatory requirements
• Aid with warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to perform well under pressure
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Prefer 1 year experience as a technician but will consider mechanically inclined individuals
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
