Coffee Equipment Technician

Abita Roasting Company is looking for a dependable, hands-on Coffee Equipment Technician to keep our customers’ coffee and tea equipment running properly. You’ll travel to hotels, restaurants, churches, offices, and other customer locations to troubleshoot, service, and repair equipment when issues arise. Between service calls, you’ll work at our warehouse repairing, testing, and preparing backup equipment for future installations.

Responsibilities

• Install and service commercial coffee equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment
• Perform regular cleaning and preventive maintenance
• Make repairs and replace parts as needed
• Travel to customer locations throughout the Northshore and Southshore
• Keep service records and communicate completed work

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Comfortable working with tools and troubleshooting equipment
• Able to lift 50-75 lbs.
• Able to work independently
• Experience with working on coffee/tea equipment
• Professional and respectful when working at customer locations
• Dependable and on time
• Previous coffee/tea equipment experience required
