Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on coffee brewing equipment, espresso machines, grinders, ovens, and other related machinery.
- Perform routine maintenance on commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
- Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
- Complete work orders in a permanent fashion, to the best of your ability, and in a timely manner.
- Provides outstanding guest service to store employees at all times.
- Maintain and work out of a company provided vehicle.
- Maintain a professional appearance by keeping workspace, vehicle and tools neat and tidy.
- Follows Education Plan, and provides feedback on effectiveness of classes, materials, etc.
- Be available for on-call shifts. When on-call, be available to respond verbally immediately, and physically within 2 hours.
- Always looking for problems that could be resolved and help prevent issues whenever possible.
- Communicates needs for parts & supplies to the Director of Maintenance.
- Keep an inventory of parts in the vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with the Director of Maintenance so there is clear and concise communication regarding what has been done or needs to be done.
Requirements
- Reports to: Director of Maintenance
- Pay Range: $30-$40/hr
- Location: This position travels to different locations and is based out of our Camp 1 location (191 18th Street, Lynden WA)
- Schedule: Full time position with flexible scheduling, including rotating weekend shifts and occasional night and overtime hours.
- The age requirement for this position is 21 and up due to insurance.

- Professional attributes: HVAC/EPA certification for commercial A/C, heating, and refrigeration is highly desirable.
- Positive and professional communication skills.
- Organized, detail oriented, punctual, and dependable.
- Creative and confident at problem solving.
- Strong sense of integrity and honesty.
- Contributes to a healthy team environment and helps support coworkers.
- Able to work independently while staying within guidelines from the Director of Maintenance to achieve departmental goals.
- Knowledge or experience in general maintenance, building materials, and tools.
- Great time management skills.

- Strong background in coffee equipment, electrical systems and HVAC.
