Equipment Support II
About the role
Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking immediate hires. Pay is dependent on experience, with a typical weekly schedule of Monday through Friday, eligible for overtime based on business needs. The pay range is $19.40 to $24.25 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Assist drivers, mechanics, and customers with operations, loading, and unloading of equipment for transport.
- Ensure equipment is properly cleaned and ready for rent.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Participate in company initiatives such as Baby Bonding and My Holiday.
Requirements
- Previous 1 year of experience with operating construction equipment, or equivalent construction experience preferred.
- Comfortable working outside in various weather conditions.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring full range of motion and agility.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
Skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Knowledge of construction equipment operation.
