About the role

Sunstate Equipment Co. is seeking immediate hires for a dynamic position where safety and people are core values. Pay is dependent on experience, with a typical schedule of Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential for overtime. The pay range is $17.35 to $21.70 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Assist drivers, mechanics, and customers with operations, loading, and unloading of equipment for transport.
• Ensure equipment is properly cleaned and ready for rent.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Work comfortably outside within the elements.
• Prioritize safety and teamwork.
• Be driven to advance in a growing company.

Requirements

• Previous 1 year of experience with operating construction equipment, or construction experience preferred.
• Full range of motion and agility required.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable working outside.
• Must be able to operate equipment safely.
• Must have a positive attitude towards teamwork and safety.

Skills

• Operational skills with construction equipment.
• Attention to detail for equipment cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

$17.35 - $21.70 per hour, dependent on experience.

Schedule

Typical schedule: Monday – Friday 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Overtime eligible).
