Join a growing company where your expertise is valued and you’ll work with specialized equipment while building a long-term career.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, repair, and service street sweepers and related equipmentPerform preventive maintenance inspections, oil changes, lubrication services, and routine maintenanceTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and engine-related issuesComplete equipment repairs in the shop and at customer locationsDiagnose and repair bearings and other mechanical componentsUse Cummins diagnostic and scan tools as neededDocument work performed, parts used, and service outcomes accuratelyMaintain customer machines and company-owned fleet vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines and company safety proceduresQualificationsMinimum of 3 years of relevant mechanical experienceExperience in diesel, fleet maintenance, automotive repair, or a related mechanical fieldWorking knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems with strong mechanical troubleshooting skillsAbility to perform maintenance and mechanical repairs independentlyMust have your own toolsStreet sweeper experience is not required — we will train the right candidate on our equipmentOEM or manufacturer training/certifications, street sweeper or municipal experience, and Cummins experience are preferred but not requiredFullbay experience preferred but not requiredCompensation & Benefits$35–$40/hour, depending on experienceWeekly payOvertime paid after 40 hours with pre-approvalMedical insurance401(k)PTO and sick days7 paid holidaysWhy Work Here?Northeast Sweepers & Rentals provides sales, rentals, maintenance, and service support for RAVO street sweepers.
