About the role
The Inside Sales Representative (Equipment Rental Specialist) is an inside sales role responsible for supporting telephone and walk-in customers with rentals of all types of construction and industrial equipment. This position is the Company’s front line of contact with the customer, focused on understanding customer equipment needs, negotiating and placing orders. The role requires strong administrative skills and a professional attitude to deliver customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Support telephone and walk-in customers with equipment rental needs
- Understand customer equipment requirements
- Negotiate and place orders
- Maintain a professional attitude to ensure customer satisfaction
- Perform administrative tasks related to sales and customer service
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s license
- Familiarity with various types of construction and industrial tools & equipment
- Previous equipment rental industry experience (preferred)
- Strong customer service and telephone skills
- Solid computer and administrative skills
- Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process (preferred)
- Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be preferred in some locations
Physical Demands
- Bending, squatting, crouching, and reaching
- Lifting 50 pounds or more
- Working indoors and outdoors as required by the job

Pay
Base pay range: $21.38 - $25.38 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on factors including location, education, training, and experience.
