Equipment Operator II - PT Bus Driver

About the role

Part-Time Equipment Operator II - Bus Driver position in the Facilities Services Department (Transportation) at Adams State University, Alamosa, CO. This is a part-time, non‑exempt role eligible for overtime. Work address: 208 Edgemont Blvd, Alamosa, CO 81101.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport participants/equipment/vehicles to official Adams State University functions and events.
• Provide excellent customer service and professionalism.
• Attend several overnight, multiple‑day athletic/program events.
• Abide by all driver safety, traffic laws, rules and regulations.
• Perform and provide logs on equipment and vehicle inspections (pre‑trip) daily.
• Perform all inspections required by law and completion of all required documents.

Requirements

• Must be a Colorado state resident at the time of application.
• Two (2) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned.
• Class B commercial license with passenger endorsement.
• Submit a copy of current Colorado Driver's License, CDL medical card, and DMV record with the application.
• Willing and able to meet job demands: frequent bending, occasional lifting of approximately 50 pounds, and sitting for extensive durations.

Pay

Salary range: $46,584.00 – $65,232.00 per year ($26.00 – $29.12 hourly).
