The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for Equipment Operator I in the Street Department. The incumbent operates equipment such as trucks, tractors, and mowers and uses a variety of power and hand tools in maintaining City streets, culverts, right-of-way, storm sewers, and other public property.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Mental alertness and adaptability to office and field area work routines
- Previous experience with street and mowing equipment, including tractor, mower, and backhoe is desired
- Must possess and maintain a valid Oklahoma driver's license and be insurable
- Must have OK Commercial Class "B" w/Air Brakes
- Must be at least 18 years old
