Purpose and Scope

Responsible for maintenance and repair of miscellaneous equipment, including but not limited to: internal combustion engines of various sizes (both gas & diesel), fleet vehicles, electrical power generators, unitary mobile pump systems, and other modular equipment that is the responsibility of the FOMSS contract. Must have knowledge of generator load bank testing as well as knowledge of automatic transfer switch operations.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Perform tear-down and reassembly of the aforementioned equipment types with the intent of repairing any anomalies and returning equipment to designed intent and function.
  • Perform routine maintenance of the aforementioned equipment types with the technical ability to carry out the steps outlined in the preventive maintenance job plans and maintenance manual documentation for the individual equipment.
