Equipment Mechanic

About the role

As an Equipment Mechanic at EMR, you’ll play a key role in our daily operations at our St. Paul, MN site. In this role, you’ll work to troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial machinery and heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment such as metal processors, electrical machinery, material handlers, loaders, and forklifts.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics and routine maintenance.
• Dismantle, reassemble and install parts or new equipment with hand and power tools.
• Use a welder for repairs or fabricating items.

Requirements

• One year of maintenance experience
• Background in electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical areas
• Able to work independently
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Able to lift and handle 50 pounds

Qualifications

• Preferred qualifications include experience in repair of industrial equipment, heavy equipment and trucks
