Responsibilities
- determining needed repairs and/or replacements of grounds and utility equipment
- ensuring the availability of equipment in safe operating condition
- providing written documentation of repairs to meet district, state, and federal requirements
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake, passenger, and school bus endorsements
- Driving record free of traffic violations and accidents
- PASSING a DOT physical exam upon hire and yearly thereafter
- DOT Drug Testing Clearance
- Submit to a preemployment drug screen and participate in DOT random drug/alcohol testing
- Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance
- First aid and CPR Certificate
Qualifications
- Own a basic set of mechanic's tools
