EQUIPMENT MATERIEL SPECIALIST
About the role
The Equipment Materiel Specialist position involves receiving supervision from the Equipment Materiel Manager I / II and day-to-day direction from the Senior Equipment Materiel Specialist. The incumbent performs Equipment Materiel Operations work concerning the purchasing, inventory, disbursement, shipping and receiving of equipment parts, materiel, related equipment and services for the fabrication, maintenance, repair and disposal of mobile equipment.
Responsibilities
- Receives supervision from the Equipment Materiel Manager I / II and day-to-day direction from the Senior Equipment Materiel Specialist.
- Performs Equipment Materiel Operations work concerning the purchasing, inventory, disbursement, shipping and receiving of equipment parts, materiel, related equipment and services for the fabrication, maintenance, repair and disposal of mobile equipment.
- Must possess a valid class C driver's license.
Requirements
Permanent, intermittent positions and are not subject to Post and Bid. A permanent, intermittent employee may work up to 1,500 hours in any 12 consecutive months. The number of hours and schedule of work shall be determined based upon the operational needs of each department.
Qualifications
To be eligible, you must meet the Minimum Qualifications stated in the Classification Specification. These qualifications include possession of a valid Class C driver’s license.
