Background required
- High School
- Electrician Certification / License or Associates degree
- Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience (can be combined with Military and Trade related certifications or course work)

Duties and responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment employing safe, predictive and productive maintenance techniques
- Ensure high equipment uptime by performing repair, preventive, and predictive maintenance on machine controls, facility power controls, robotics, vacuum thermo-formers, extruders, and other plastics processing equipment
- Familiar with installation and troubleshooting of PLC's, safety guards and controls, thermal controls, fluid controls and pumps, motors / motor controls, pneumatics, conveyor systems, and assembly machines
- Ability to follow schematic diagrams, repair manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications
- Quickly locates and repairs problems by using analytical skills, observing mechanical devices in operation and by using advanced diagnostics and test methods
- Perform quick changeover and precision mechanical setup of tooling to support production needs
- Adjusts functional parts of devices and controls to ensure quality products are produced
- Maintains parts and supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies
- Provides support on periodic extra hours requirements, call-in, weekends
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Able to function within small and large teams with minimal supervision
