Role Overview We are seeking skilled Equipment Mechanics & Diesel Technicians to maintain, repair, and operate fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, and pavement preservation machinery. The role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, performing preventive and emergency repairs on diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, HVAC systems, and other mechanical components. Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled, preventive, and emergency repairs on various vehicles and equipmentInspect, diagnose, rebuild, and repair engines, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systemsMaintain and repair construction equipment such as loaders, rollers, pavers, trucks, and trailersConduct safety and DOT inspections, ensuring compliance with policies and regulationsRead manuals, schematics, and work orders; complete maintenance records and work orders accuratelyAssist with parts procurement, inventory management, and operate diagnostic, welding, and maintenance tools safelyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferredAt least two years of experience in diesel repair, equipment or fleet maintenance, or related fieldStrong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systemsValid driver’s license; CDL-A and tanker endorsement preferredWelding and fabrication experience a plusAbility to work independently, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
