Primary Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, minor diagnostics, and repairs on: Small engines (generators, pumps, compact equipment), light and heavy equipment, fleet vehicles and trailers.
- Affix GPS/telemetry devices, troubleshoot, and replace them as needed.
- Log repairs, inspections, maintenance activities, and parts usage accurately in Tenna.
- Support inventory accuracy by verifying equipment condition, location, and status.
Facilities & Yard Support
- Perform routine facility and yard maintenance, including minor building repairs, carpentry, electrical, plumbing repairs, and emergency cleanups.
- Set up and break down of office spaces, move furniture, and perform necessary repairs or cleanups.
- Support event setup and load out, including moving and setting up equipment for offsite events.
- Organize and stage yard operations and controlled storage.
- Receive and prepare shipments, and load/unload equipment as required.
Technical Skills
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting and repair capability.
- Organized, dependable, and safety-focused.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities across fleet, facilities, and operations.
- Clear communication with management, administrative staff, and field teams.
- Willingness to support training, inspections, and cross-functional initiatives.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working outdoors, in shop environments, and on job sites.
- Ability to operate vehicles, trailers, and equipment as required.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in equipment, vehicle, or small engine repair.
- Working knowledge of diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and PM practices.
- Experience supporting facilities maintenance or yard operations preferred.
- Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus (or willingness to obtain).
