About the role
This individual will be responsible for the effective washing, detailing, and prepping of equipment for delivery of high-quality machinery and components. They will maintain the organization of the facility, coordinate all equipment in the yard, and develop long-term relationships with other employees to facilitate efficient and accurate completion of the dealership process.
Responsibilities
- Perform inbound inspections on rental machines and complete all related documentation to support the machine traffic process.
- Complete damage inspections and review/create all necessary documentation to accurately identify and invoice customer damage to RDO assets.
- Perform outbound quality control inspections to ensure all machines leaving the RDO facility meet strict quality and cleanliness guidelines.
- Maintain and oversee the overall organization of the yard and notify management of any related concerns.
- Use company-provided systems/tools (e.g., Sales Advantage) to document, track, record, follow up, and capture all related sales activity in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assemble and coordinate preparation of machines for rental and sales activities.
- Responsible for all equipment entering the yard until it is transferred to the shop, including a thorough check before transfer.
- Responsible for moving, linking, unlinking, and monitoring all equipment in the yard.
- Participate in the preparation of equipment for rental, sale, and/or demo.
- Clean and detail company and customer equipment.
- Document appropriate information on completed work orders.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures as specified in company manuals and the employee handbook.
- Conduct yourself professionally in the presence of customers and the community to present a positive image of RDO Equipment Co.
- Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training to develop and advance your knowledge base and skill set.
- Participate in all company/location-driven communication efforts, including open book meetings, huddles, department meetings, and other related efforts.
- Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.
Requirements
- Work independently with little or no supervision while functioning in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent computer and customer service skills.
- Ability to perform the majority of job duties outdoors.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid work authorization in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

Pay
$20 – $28 per hour.
