Responsibilities
- Cook up the replenishment of equipment kits that are deployed on the road, ensuring production teams have access to the required gear and supplies.
- Collaborate with logistics partners to coordinate truckload shipments and manage freight logistics for equipment distribution.
- Utilize FedEx, UPS, and Southwest Cargo to ship equipment and materials, selecting the most efficient shipping methods based on production needs and timelines.
- Reconcile weekly kit inventory reports, identify missing or damaged equipment, and develop replenishment plans to address gaps.
- Maintain organized equipment backstock on-site and ensure production kits are properly maintained and evaluated when they are returned to the office.
- Adhere to the existing and implement new systems and processes to track equipment purchases, deployments, and inventory across the Cosm Productions team.
- Communicate equipment status, availability, and requirements to production management and other stakeholders using clear written documentation and production tracking tools.
- Stay organized and detail-oriented while managing multiple kit requests, shipments, and inventory updates simultaneously.
Requirements
- Minimum two years of experience in production coordination, inventory management, or logistics roles.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems, with experience in Cheqroom, RentMan, or Flex (preferred).
- Familiarity with broadcast workflows, including video fiber infrastructure (a plus).
- Knowledge of cinema workflows and equipment such as Red cameras (a plus).
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to clearly document notes, feedback, and status updates.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Slack, and Notion or similar collaboration and project management tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and maintain accuracy in inventory tracking.
- Experience working with cross-functional, distributed teams and the ability to adapt to dynamic production environments.
- Proven ability to learn and implement new systems and processes quickly.
